About Us

We at Atal Seva Sansthan aim to narrow down the rate of illiteracy in the country. Here, we aim to bring the best out of the minds of the imaginative youth and the matured adults in order to create opportunities for all round development of India’s population. Inspired by our very own Former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, we look forward to take a step towards balanced development of thought and mind among the people of the country. We look forward to creating a strong, tolerant and skilled India, shining like it did as in his vision for the country.

We aim to provide basic formal education to as many people possible and teach them basic skills that help them lead a sustainable life. We wish to run awareness campaigns across the country to cultivate seasoned, broad minded and unprejudiced thoughts among the people of the nation. Being a pan India organisation, we also look forward to collaborate with as many individuals and organisations as possible to create a positive impact on the people of the country.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee

"Our aim may be as high as the endless sky, but we should have a reason in our minds to walk ahead, hand-in-hand, for victory will be ours."

-Atal Bihari Vajpayee

An Indian statesman who served three terms as the Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, known for his firm policies, is our inspiration for this organisation, Atal Seva Sansthan. The man who showed India the importance of good governance, achieving great heights and creating a ‘just’ and ‘visionary’ society. His efforts to push development to the rural areas along with his vision to make India a global leader made the far-sighted Vajpayee an iconic national leader. One of his many great works includes ‘Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan’ which was started with the motto of providing education to all, is also the core belief of our organisation. The idea was to eradicate illiteracy from the country and ‘Each one, teach one’ was the motto of this educational drive. Vajpayee himself wrote the famous poem ‘School chale hum’, which was used as the promotional song for the campaign. His vision for development was very realistic. Atal Ji’s dedication to the literature and education has contributed and inspired the most sections of the society. He largely emphasised on the economy of the country and aimed at bringing a more equitable and manageable distribution of the country’s revenue.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his tenure in the office had been an inspiring journey for many. He was the powerhouse behind many of the economic, social and educational reforms that this country has ever seen. One of the facts that he emphasized was on the importance of education and the need to empower the youth of this country so as to help India achieve its full potential and zenith. He visioned to strive towards removing the disparity in the society by working at the grassroot level which was universal primary education. He advocated the effectiveness of societal growth by making sure that every person in the society has access to their basic education which can, in turn, help them in improving the quality of their livelihood and helping them get a firm ground for their future goals. We, at Atal Seva Sansthan, following the ideals of Atal Ji, believe that education acts as a catalyst in reforming the society and providing the individual the necessary armour. This organisation will work in its full capacity to create an educated and skilled youth for the all-round development of the country and we hope to make his vision come true.
